Hydrogen Sorption Behaviors on Lithium Doped MIL@53-Al at Non-Cryogenic Temperatures

The current research work reports the methods that have been developed to dope Lithium nanoparticles MIL@53-Al surface frameworks without inducing structures. prepared MOFs and Li/MIL/53-Al were characterized by XRD, TEM, SEM, BET, TGA. doped measured for hydrogen sorption capacities at 298 253 K under a pressure of 75 bar. study revealed enhanced significantly due doping lithium ions; however, these ions should be controlled obtaining good uptake as higher concentrations might damage synthesized materials. enhances from 1.37 1.75 wt % bar pressure.

Lithium-doped MOF impregnated with lithium-coated fullerenes: a hydrogen storage route for high gravimetric and volumetric uptakes at ambient temperatures.

We theoretically demonstrated that by the impregnation of Li-decorated IRMOF-10 with Li-coated C(60), the hydrogen storage capacity is improved to be 6.3 wt% and 42 g L(-1) at 100 bar and 243 K. Both the gravimetric and volumetric hydrogen uptakes reach the 2015 DOE target at near ambient conditions.
